I'm headed to VIR for two HPDE track days so am prepping the car. I replaced the front rotors and upgraded the pads (Ferodo DS2500), flushed the brake system with high-temp Motul RBF 600 using a manual pressure bleeder, and then bedded the pads with ~20 repeated 50-20 MPH moderate pressure stops in a row, followed by 5 mins of cool down driving with no stopping and minimal braking.
I bought everything from FCP Euro so I can get free replacements when these wear out. Pretty unbelievable considering the brakes + oil change kit totalled $860. Next time, it will only cost me return shipping of the used parts/fluids (or so they claim, but I've only heard good things about the program).
