This one I probably should have reduced to one single deep over winter. I think I ran out of time before the first cold snaps came.

It's kind of lite for how big it is, so I put a shim under it, I taped it, and I gave it a fondant brick. I'm going to keep an eye on this one.

It has eaten through all the sugar fondant stores I gave it, so I added one more brick. I need to keep an eye on this one.
Strong and busy
I did not reverse the brood boxes as it felt like that was going to just cause unnecessary disruption. I did clean some of the wild comb and drone brood that was built in between the brood boxes. I wouldn’t be surprised if this one would swarm, hopefully not. I also added a super box and a queen excluder.
